- Any other services, or off-site research & development incur additional fees.
- CONSULTATION is a flat fee of $ 300 up to one hour; (additional time is $ 150 per each portion of 30 minuets.) This can include:
- Initial discussion of various goals, budgeting, planning strategies & design aspects.
- I am creatively visual and can usually come up with additional practical or artistic options you may not have thought about. And maybe plan B and C...
- I will also respectfully caution you as to why an idea may not be in your best interest.
- I will point you in the right direction with advice and by making a 'next step' plan of action.

Detailed Landscape Garden Design
A Master Plan For Success
It is fundamental to have a master plan for success and even more beneficial to have an illustrated-master-plan for your garden's success. This is a detailed map that everyone can point to - So we can all be on the same page - referencing the same details.
This comprehensive design/planning phase begins after our initial collaborative consultation about your goals and ideas . . . I am here to help you navigate this complex process. Sometimes, the progression is as straightforward as (this short version):
- We have a mutually productive meeting
- We agree upon workable priorities and budget range
- I delineate the general concepts in drawing
- I conduct research & development
- I produce a conceptual landscape design
- We now have a detailed map which everyone references 'to be on the same page'
- Then, we can confidently move forward to the next step -- Producing detailed proposals(s) for installation
- Installation and maintenance are separate from my design
- However, sometimes, the development and planning can be more complex and involve a more scrutinizing process of evaluating, formulating, organizing, prioritizing, and (to the best extent) finalizing your gardening goals. There are variations to this process . . . We can discuss as much and as often as necessary, eventually towards producing the conceptual design & plan; there are many details to cover and get right. There may be other parameters to go over in more detail when we consult . . .
- Conceptual Landscape Plans are: colored, digital, to-scale, plan-view, delineating the general concepts, showing the existing structures and new planned features, with a materials & plants list. (These details can vary depending on what the client and project require).
- Starting with project budgets from $ 10k+, small patios or courtyards may be less.
- SMALLER GARDEN DESIGNS. For areas less than 2,000 square feet. Perhaps an entryway, front or back garden, patio, courtyard . . .
- LARGER GARDEN DESIGNS, all the same magic listed above . . . just more of it. For larger areas 2,000+ square feet.

Simple Starter Garden Plan (DIY plan)
STARTER GARDEN -- this service is NOT currently available; until such time when the other garden projects lighten up. Relief for the DIY that could use a helpful leg-up from a professional. So - you have garden ideas or problems that need development. Okay - have me come consult with you . . . and then, within two more hours I can work my magic with your gardening goals and dreams to produce a more cogent concept and a simple plan:
- You will receive a hand-sketched, simple garden layout, with specification notes for materials and plants (and references for a retail nursery or materials) for your garden project.
- List, organize and prioritize a plan of action your gardening objectives.
- All done on-site, at a maximum of 2 hours (this is additional to the Consultation Fee).
- Understandably, there is reasonable limit to the size, complexity and details in this session.
- This would be a good fit for small to modest spaces (not much more than 2500' sqft) for a garden Beginner or Enthusiast that wants to do it themselves or with a small group of like-minded friends and family, and just needs supplemental advice, professional organizing and written, mapped direction.

- Realizes that initially you get out of the landscape the same qualities that were installed. But over the long-run, the living garden is an element that requires a firmly nurturing hand and a continued visionary eye; Common garden maintenance gives common results, but excellent maintenance keeps your Oasis.
